About Lorna Miller Sands Babies
Lorna Miller Sands captured collectors hearts when she unveiled her first collection of authentic looking black, child dolls in 1991. Her creations were created using polymer clay, and she has taken the doll world by storm ever since. In the 2000's, her method evolved from clay to soft platinum silicone which allowed her the ultra realism and flexibility that was able to replicate that of a real baby.
These babies are collected world wide by ardent followers referred to as "LMS baby mamas".

ADOPTING AN LMS SILICONE BABY
Each CUSTOM baby is meticulously created with the upmost attention to detail. Your choice of skin tone, eye color, and hair. The newborn babies are an average of 20 inches long, weighing about 8 pounds. They feature my signature full arm armature allowing for the most incredible, life-like poses. The silicone is soft as real baby skin. They feature German glass blown eyes and the finest mohair, also featuring unique fingernail detail.
